The worst natural disaster in Puerto Rico’s history

The worst natural disaster in Puerto Rico’s history

It’s been 6 months since Hurricane Maria devastated our island neighbor. Yet, many people are still facing extreme hardships.

Tens of thousands of homes are without roofs, the electrical grid has not been fixed, and many residents are living in poverty and struggling to find enough to eat. This is not the proper way to treat a longstanding part of the United States which desperately needs aid.

This administration has turned their back on our friends and fellow citizens and failed to properly respond to the worst natural disaster in Puerto Rico’s history. Now, hurricane season is getting close which is concerning recovery efforts.

We must do more to repair infrastructure and rebound the economy before it’s too late. Otherwise, experts warn the island may never fully recover.

Please support my candidacy so we can get Puerto Rico and it’s residents back on their feet: All amounts — big or small — go a long way towards building our campaign to win the November midterm.

Thank you for stepping up when it counts most,

— Mary
