Mary Barzee Flores Raises more than $300,00 in First Fundraising Period of Candidacy
Barzee Flores’ Q3 fundraising proves her a strong contender in the FL-27 primary campaign
Miami – In her first 68 days as a candidate for Florida’s 27th Congressional district, Mary Barzee Flores will report having raised over $300,000 for her campaign, 95% of which came in donations of $2,700 or less and can be spent in the Democratic primary.
Mary’s broad support comes from well over 500 individual donors, nearly 1/3 of whom are female, nearly 2/3 of whom gave less than $250, and nearly 10% of whom gave two or more donations to the campaign.
A lifelong resident of Miami, Mary’s breadth of local support is shown by over 65% of her individual donors being residents of Miami-Dade county.
Barzee Flores’ campaign manager, Sam Miller, said of the fundraising totals, “This outpouring of support shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone who knows Mary. She’s lived, worked and served in this community her whole life and has a deep well of respect and support as a result. Our supporters know that Mary will fight for the values of Miami in Congress and have reached in deep to make sure she has the resources to get there.”
